BRIEF HISTORY
Our Church started on the 28th of November 1999, at No. 14 Harold Wilson Drive, New layout, Port Harcourt. It took off in the sitting room of Mr & Mrs Boma Johnson with 28 persons in attendance.
The name OIL OF JOY is from the book of lsaiah chapter 61 verse 3 which states "...To give unto them the oil of Joy for mourning".
God has given us the mandate to preach Joy to Humanity and by his anointing release same on Humankind which will culminate into Eternal Joy.
We repair breached Foundations and Restore Men's Destiny with Dignity.
Transforming Lives and enthroning Glad tidings.
Words, Worship, Welfare and Warfare.
To bring Joy to the nation through the prophetic words, by breaking the yoke of poverty and bringing Total Deliverance to the bound and healing the sick.

Surely Gladness, Greatness, Promotion and Recognition shall follow us this year and we shall give the lord a quality service all the days of our lives for ever and ever... Amen!
